Schönthaler hemp plasters

The best functional and visual complement to our hemp lime bricks or hempcrete is, of course, hemp lime plaster! Its function and effect are comparable to clay plaster, but it is much easier to work with and becomes about twice as hard, which minimizes cracking and increases durability. It can be applied with standard plastering machines and, for larger quantities, can even be delivered directly in a silo. And: hemp lime plaster is also significantly cheaper!

One of the most important reasons why more and more builders choose hemp plaster is its customizability in both function and appearance. Every construction site is different, every builder unique. Our hemp plasters can therefore be individually adapted. In the pre-packaged bags, a standard amount of hemp shives is already mixed in; simply add water and the plaster is ready to use.

If you want to change acoustic properties or achieve a more rustic surface texture, different amounts and sizes of additional hemp shives can be added. For even more individuality, various natural color pigments can be mixed in to give each wall on your site its very own finish. We are happy to advise you on this!
